The Norwegian engineering company Techano AS, part of the Dutch Van Aalst Group, has recently moved into new premises in the port of Kristiansand. “As Techano have seen growth and a rise in order intake we needed to relocate” says Morten Sørensen, Managing Director.

The new office is located at the most modern and latest facility of Port of Kristiansand. The offshore supply port, with deep water quay and lifting capability has proven valuable to the marine and offshore industry.

“This location will bring Techano several advantages in the coming growth“, says Øystein Bondevik, Sales Director.

Techano is co-located with other players within the marine and offshore industry, and as such also bring other synergies in the day to day business.

Techano have during 2018 received record number orders, including cranes and service units to the Havfarm project – world’s largest offshore fish farm, numerous winches for rig upgrade and crane for subsea operation.
